ROOFING SPREADER BEAMS

A roofing iron adjustable spreader beam is a versatile lifting device used to safely and efficiently lift and transport loads of roofing iron. The internal telescopes in the spreader beam have multiple holes so you can adjust the spreader beam to different lengths allowing you to lift different length loads using one spreader beam. This adaptability makes them ideal for different roofing material lengths.
Cross Members with a span of 860mm to 900mm are welded on to the sides of the roofing adjustable spreader beams designed to lift loads of roofing iron. Cross members have either weld on hooks or stops on the ends to secure strops.
As the adjustable spreader beams are designed to be used with 2-leg chains at 45-60 degrees attached to the end lifting lugs, adequate headroom is required above the spreader beam.
KNAPP spreader beams are designed, manufactured and certified in accordance with Standard AS4991-2004 Lifting Devices. Please note that rigging and bow shackles are not included with the spreader beam but can be supplied in addition if required.
